    Greater Seattle Partners joins Vancouver Economic Commission in Cascadia Economic Development Agreement

    Greater Seattle Partners and the Vancouver Economic Commission (VEC) have announced a new cooperation agreement to promote the economy throughout the Cascadia Innovation Corridor. Leaders from both economic development organizations formalized the agreement today at a signing ceremony. The Corridor runs from Vancouver, British Columbia to Portland, Oregon and includes all of western Washington.

    Vancouver Economic Commission (VEC) CEO Ian G. McKay Takes Reins of New National Investment Organization

    Today, the Vancouver Economic Commission (VEC) congratulates CEO Ian G. McKay on his new appointment as CEO of Invest in Canada. Concurrent with this appointment, Mr. McKay will resign as CEO of the VEC and as Chair of the Consider Canada City Alliance (CCCA). Invest in Canada is a new federal organization dedicated to attracting global investment while making the process simpler for international businesses to do so.
